Mama's Fresh Salsa

4 cans Hunts Diced tomatos with Basil, Garlic & Oregano4 cloves fresh garlic, peeled4 fresh jalapenos with ends cut off (do not remove seeds unless you want less heat)1 onion peeled (red or yellow)1 large bunch of cilantro, with the ends chopped off (include stems and leaves)
Blend all ingredients in a food processor until coarsely blended - do not overblend, but make sure there are no large chunks remaining and the texture is fairly smooth.
This keeps for up to two weeks in the refrigerator (may keep longer, but the salsa in my house never stays longer than two weeks at most!).
Enjoy with baked scoops tortilla chips or fresh corn tortillas.
Makes 16 1/2 cup servings.
