Cheese Crisps

Ingredients
1/4 cup soft butter1 cup grated Cheddar Cheese (sharp)1/4 tsp saltfew grains of cayenne1/2 cup Rice Krispies1/2 cup sifted all purpose flour
Directions
Combine butter, cheese, salt and cayenne.
Crush cereal with a rolling pin. Add cereal and flour to butter mixture and combine into dough.
Shape into small balls (red grape size). Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with a fork in criss-cross pattern. Bake in 375 deg. oven for 8 - 12 minutes or until golden. Cool. Makes about 2-1/2 doz. crisps. They will be delicate and lacey looking when cool.
