Three Bean Chili

Ingredients
1 and half pounds 90/10 sirloin1 medium onion, chopped1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced1 jalapeno, diced 1 can black beans, rinsed1 can pinto beans, rinsed1 can kidney beans, rinsed3 oz tomato paste1 can tomatoes and green chilies (Rotel)4 cups V-8 juice1 cup water1 TB better than bouillon beef base 1 ounce chili powder1 tsp smoked paprika1/2 tsp cayenne pepper1/2 tsp black pepper1 tsp cumin2 tsp salt, divided1 tsp garlic powder
Directions
Brown ground sirloin over medium heat, add 1 tsp salt and pepper. Drain and rinse ground beef. Add 1 tsp of olive oil, onions,jalapeno, red and green peppers. Cook until onions are softened. Add chili powder,cayenne,cumin, remaining salt, garlic powder and smoked paprika, cook an additional minute.

Add tomato paste,water, beef base,V-8 and rotel. Add beans. Simmer 30 minutes up to 2 hours on low heat. Can also be put in a crock pot at this point. Cook on low 6 hours.
