Chili

Ingredients
1 T olive oil1 med onion, chopped large2 cloves garlic, minced1 T dried oregano1 lb lean (90% and above) ground beef1 can stewed tomatoes1 can kidney beans1 can black beans1/4 c chili powder2 T ground cumin
Directions
In a chef's pan heat the olive oil and start to brown the onion. When the onion turns yellow and starts to soften add the ground beef and oregano. When the ground beef is almost browned, add the garlic. When the ground beef is brown add the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine, add a little salt and pepper and simmer for 5 minutes. Taste! Add more chili powder as required. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes and serve. Makes about 8 servings.
