Vegetarian Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
6 cups Water/Vegetable Broth2 cups Yellow Split Peas3 medium Carrots, diced3 medium Potatoes, diced3 stalks Celery, diced1 large Onion, diced5 cloves Garlic, mincedSalt and Pepper to tasteSpices: I used Thyme, Dill Weed and Chili Powder, which tasted great!
Directions
Place all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Simmer for two hours. Let sit and, once cool, puree soup until desired consistency. Heat, serve and enjoy :)
