Ingredients
2.5 lbs. beef roast4 medium red potatoes, quartered4 large carrots, cut1 small red onion, sliced2 medium stalks of celery, cut1 envelope onion soup mix1 cup watercreole seasoning (to taste)garlic powder (to taste)
Directions
Brown the roast in the skillet. Add roast and all other ingredients to slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hrs. Makes about 5 hearty servings.

    I've been making my roast this way for years! I'm glad someone else enjoys it as well. Tip... add a little worcestershire sauce. It gives it a tangy zip. Adds 5 cals per Tbsp, but worth every one! - 10/8/10
