Ingredients
4 cups dill weed, washed and chopped3 tsp. split moong dhal, soaked (10 minutes) 1/2 tsp. salt1 green chili 1 tsp. cumin seeds1/2 tsp. hing (optional)
Directions
Put oil in non-stick pot on medium heat. Add cumin, chili, hing and then moong dhal. Saute for a minute, then add the dill weed (shepu) and salt. Add little water and mix well. Cook covered for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot with bhakri or chapatis. Makes 3 servings.
