Apple Bars

Ingredients
4 cups flour2 cups sugar1/2 tsp salt3 sticks of butter (I use 2 sticks of butter and 1 stick of margarine)4-5 apples peeled and cut up1/3 cup sugar1 tsp cinnamonGlaze:1 cup powdered sugar1 tsp vanilla extract1 tbsp water
Directions
Mix the first 3 ingredients together. Cut in the butter. Spread 2/3 of this mixture in a Jelly roll pan. Slice up the apples and spread over top of the crust. Mix the 1/3 cup sugar and the 1 tsp of cinnamon together and sprinkle over the apples. Sprinkle the remaining 1/3 of the crust over top of the apples. Bake in a 350 degree oven fot 50-60 minutes.
For the Glaze mix the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and water together and drizzle over the cooled bars.
