Oatmeal - steel-cut slow cooker with apple

Ingredients
1 c. steel cut oats, dry4 c. water1/2 c. evaporated skim milk2 medium apples, cubed1 tsp. cinnamon, ground1/2 tsp. nutmeg, ground1/2 tsp. salt
Directions
Add all ingredients to slow cooker, stir, and cook on low overnight (8-10 hours).
Makes 5 1-cup servings. Sweeten to taste with honey, maple syrup, or stevia as desired.
