Tomato sauce:1 can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano added1 can tomato sauce, plain1/2 cup chopped green pepper1/2 cup water2 t dried basil2 t dried oregano1t onion powder1 box (14.5 oz) whole wheat pasta1 bag (16oz) shredded mozzarella cheeseAbout 45 slices of pepperoni
Start by preparing the tomato sauce. Add the cans of tomato, the water, the green pepper, and the seasonings, and cook for around 20 minutes or until sauce thickens. Then, boil pasta until tender and drain. Mix drained pasta, tomato sauce, and pepperoni in a 13x9 baking dish. Top with mozzarella and bake at around 375 degrees for about 20 minutes or until cheese is browned. Makes about 8 servings.
