root vegetable soup

Ingredients
275 grams parsnips200 grams turnips275 grams carrots3 vegetarian oxo cubes40fl oz water1 tsp black pepper or to taste
Directions
Peel and chop vegetables put in saucepan
Add 2 pints water (40 fluid oz)
Add 3 vegetable oxo cubes
Simmer on low heat until vegetables are soft
Leave to cool slightly then liquidise
Pour back in saucepan
Add pepper to taste
Bring back to boil
Serves 6
