Potato Soup with dumpling

Ingredients
5 potatoes diced3 carrots sliced1 lg. onion, chopped1 box chicken stock1 c. water1 T. mrs. dash1 c. flour1 egg, beatedsalt and pepper
Directions
In large pan saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter. Add carrots, potatoes, broth, water and Mrs. Dash. Bring to a boil then simmer until vegetables are tender.
Mix flour, salt and pepper; make hole in center of flour add egg, combine with a fork should be lumpy dumplings. Bring soup back to a low boil add dumplings and cook addtional 15 minutes.
