Norhtern Maine Apple Bread

1 1/2 Cups Flour (I used King Arthur UNBLEACHED all purpose flour)1 TSP ground Cinnamon1/2 TSP Baking Soda1/4 TSP Baking Powder1/4 TSP Salt1 Cup of White Sugar1 Large Apple, peeled and shredded (Equals about 1cup of shredded apple)1/4 cup Vegetable Oil1 Large Egg1/3 cup of Milk (I used 2%)4 TSP Brown Sugar, unpacked
Preheat oven to 350 and spray a loaf pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mix Flour, Cinnamon, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt and White Sugar together. Than add Oil, Egg, Milk, and Apple. Stir until well mixed.
Spoon batter into a greased loaf pan and sprinkle brown sugar over the top, and bake for 1 hour, or until a tooth pick comes out relatively dry
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then remove the bread.
Cut into 8 thick slices and enjoy
