Chai Whipped Gelatin

Ingredients
2.5 cups hot water3 chai tea bags2 teaspoons sugar or 2 packets Splenda1 cup milk (or half-and-half)1 tsp vanilla extract1 cup cold water3 (2 oz.) packets unflavored gelatinnutmegallspicecinnamonwhipped topping - optional (not included in nutrition information)
Directions
In medium saucepan, add cold water (1 cup) and gelatin. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Seep tea bags in 2 1/2 cups hot water. Remove tea bags from liquid and stir in gelatin.

Gradually add milk (1% used in nutrition information)

Stir in vanilla and splenda or other sweetener and spices (to taste)

Pour into a mixing bowl and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.

Whip until light and fluffy. Return to refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.

    I made this tonight. It's good if you like chai tea which I do. I added a little bit more sweetener ( I used Stevia ), added whipped cream like you did and sprinkled few semi sweet mini chocolate nuggets. I think it may work well with some blueberries. Tastes refreshing. - 8/22/12
