Barely Fat Granola

Ingredients
3/4 c. brown sugar, dark1/3 c. concentrated apple juice, from frozen concentrate1/2 c. nonfat dry milk1/3 c. honey5 c. Whole Grain Oats (Quaker)2 T. cinnamon1/2 tsp salt1/2 c. dried fruit/nuts (optional/not in nutrition count)
Directions
Mix sugar, apple juice, dry milk, and honey in pan and heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Combine dry ingredients in separate mixing bowl. Pour sugar mixture over dry mixture and mix well. Place on cookie sheet (I prefer glass baking dish). Bake at 375* for 10 - 20 minutes, stirring half way through bake time (Cook time can really vary from oven to oven, when cooked at just the right temp you will have a nice granola with a bit of a chewy texture. When cooked longer, it will be a crunchy texture). Let cool, then transfer to air-tight container. Makes about 16 servings, 1/2 cup each.
