1 C lentil beans, rinsed1 C brown rice (I had long grain, non instant)1 C sliced carrots1/2 C chopped celery1/2 C chopped onion2 C Swanson Cooking Stock, Beef (has no sugar)Add water to make at least 3 cups total liquid (for stew, more for soup)bay leaf, salt and pepper, and other seasoning to taste
Combine all ingredients in a crock pot; cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5. Makes 6 servings under 100 calories.
