Crockpot Lentil Soup

Ingredients
3 oz of ham hock5 cups chicken stock1 cup white wine1 1/2 cups dried lentils2 cups sliced carrots, about 3 to 4 medium carrots1 cup chopped celery1 cup chopped onion2 teaspoons salt1 teaspoon sugar1/4 teaspoon pepper1 bay leaf
Directions
Rinse lentils; place in cooker. Add broth and wine and remaining ingredients and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Take out ham bone or hock and remove meat. Chop meat and return to lentil soup. Remove bay leaf. Lentil soup serves 6.
