Dairy Free Pesto

3 oz. Fresh Basil2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil3/4 c Raw Pine Nuts6 cloves garlic3 t sea salt (or to taste)
In a food processor, finely chop the pine nuts. Remove the pine nuts from the processor and set aside.
Remove all of the stems from the basil. In a food processor, finely chop the basil. Add olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, and salt. Process until mixed consistently.
We divide up the pesto in a ice cube tray and freeze until we are ready to use. Yield about 8 ice cube shaped pieces. (I typically use 2-3 for one package of cooked and drained spaghetti.)
