Buttercup Squash with Tart Apples

Ingredients
Buttercup Squash, cooked, 2 cupGranny smith apple - 1 med. appleBrown Sugar, 3 tsp packedButter I cant believe its not butter original, 2 tspNutmeg, ground, .5 tsp
Directions
1. Heat oven to 400°F. Cut squash in half; remove seeds and fibers. Place squash halves, cut side up, in ungreased baking dish, 11x7x1 1/2 inches. Mix remaining ingredients; spoon into squash halves.
2. Cover and bake 30 to 40 minutes or until squash is tender.
One Squash Cut in half serves 2.

    I adore squash of all kinds and a buttercup is so sweet and good. I usually omit any toppings but if I use the toppings this is the one. I add cinnamon too to the apples. Thank you - 2/12/17
