Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
3 C whole wheat four2 tsp baking soda1 1/2 tsp salt1 tsp cinnamon1 tsp nutmeg2 C sugar1 C unsweetened apple sauce3 eggs lightly beaten2/3 C water1 1/2 C fresh pumpkin or 2 C canned
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly oil loaf pan. In a large bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Make a dry well in the flour mixture and add the apple sauce, eggs, water and pumpkin and mix well. Pour batter in pan and bake for one hour. Cool slightly in the pan and then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
