Honey Cake and Honey Butter Cream Frosting

Ingredients
CAKERegular Coffee, 6 cup (8 fl oz) Egg, fresh, 3 large Canola Oil, 3 tbsp Apple Sauce, 6 oz Honey, .75 cup Brown Sugar, .75 cup, packed Flour, white, 2.25 cupBaking Powder, .75 tsp Baking Soda, .5 tsp Cinnamon, ground, 2 tspSalt, .5 tsp FROSTINGButter, unsalted, .5 cup Honey, 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar, 2.5 cup, unsifted Milk, 2%, .25 cup
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease cake pan, flour, tap out excess flour.

2. Mix eggs, oil, apple sauce, honey and brown sugar with an electric mixer.

3. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients, (flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt).

4. Alternating, add flour mixture and coffee to the egg mixture, mix lightly until smooth, do not over mix.

5. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.

6. Cool completely, frost.


FROSTING

Cream butter, sugar, honey and milk on high until light and fluffy. Add more or less milk depending on consistency.
