Ingredients
1 onion, chopped1 carrot, chopped1/2 green pepper, chopped1 lb. ground turkey1 8 oz. can tomato sauce1 15 oz. can tomatoes1 8 oz. can mushrooms1/2 cup barbecue saucepepper to taste
Directions
Saute veggies and ground turkey. When meat is done add remaining ingredients. Serve on whole wheat bread or buns.

    I tweaked this a little. I added a celery stalk, should have drained the tomatoes, as mine was a little soupy, and added ketchup instead of the barbecue sauce. I was afraid my family wouldn't care for the BBQ sauce, but I might try it next time. We all enjoyed this! - 2/9/09
