Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

1/2 pound (2 sticks or 8 tbsps) margarine or butter1.5 cups firmly packed dark brown sugar2 eggs1 teaspoon vanilla1.5 cups whole wheat flour1 tsp baking soda1 tsp cinnamon3 cups Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned)1 cup craisins
1. Heat oven to 350 F.
2. Beat together margarine and sugar until creamy.
3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
4. Add combined flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Mix well.
5. Stir in oats and craisins; mix well.
6. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet ; remove to wire rack.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
