1 uncooked pie crust (9-inch)2 tbsp butter, salted1 large onion, sliced thin3 large eggs1 cup heavy cream2 cups Swiss cheese, shreddedsalt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter in a 10-inch saute pan. Add sliced onions and cook until carmelized. Place onions into pie crust. In a medium bowl, scramble eggs with cream. Season with salt and pepper. Pour egg mixutre over onions in pie crust. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 30-35 minutes longer or until a knife, inserted into the center, comes out clean. Makes 6 servings.
