Ingredients
Directions
1/2 c butter softened1 cup sugar4 eggs1 tsp vanilla3c all purpose flour1 tbsp baking powder3/4c dried cranberries3/4c vanilla or white choc chips
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar with mixer. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in cranberries and vanilla chips. Divide dough into 3 portions.
On ungreased baking sheets (though I found lightly greasing might be a good idea) shape each portion into a 10x2 inch rectangle. Bake at 350 for 20-25min or until lightly browned. Cool for 5 min.
Transfer to a cutting board and cool a little longer. Cut diagonally with a serrated knife into ~3/4 inch slices. Place cut side down on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 15-20 min or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Store in airtight container.
