Anise Cookies

Ingredients
3 eggs2 cups powdered sugar1 drop anise oil or 1/2 tsp anise extract1 and 3/4 cups flour1 tsp baking powderAnise seeds
Directions
Beat eggs in a large bowl. Add powdered sugar and beat together until smooth. Add ONE DROP of anise oil or 1/2 tsp of anise extract. Sift in flour and baking powder and beat until smooth. Batter should have a consistency slightly runnier than toothpaste and should be somewhat shiny. Place clumps of anise seeds(4-6 seeds) 2 inched apart on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Drop rounded teaspoons of batter onto each clump. Let sheets set out at least 8 hours or overnight in cool, dry place. Cookies should be dry-ish and slightly hard on top. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 12 minutes. Cookies should for caps.
