Venison vegetable soup with rice

Ingredients
1 lb ground venison2 cooking onions diced2 quarts stewed tomatoes1 package frozen mixed vegetables1 Tblsp garlic salt2 quarts water2 cups brown or white rice (cooked)1 Tblsp Chili powder1 tsp black pepper1 bay leaf
Directions
In a large soup pot, brown ground venison with onions add stewed tomatoes, garlic salt, pepper, water, pepper, bay leaf, and chili powder. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add cooked rice.
