Ingredients

    3 cups finely shredded crisp green cabbage
    1/4 cup minced onion
    1 small carrot, shredded
    1/3 cup mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed


Directions

Put cabbage, onion and carrot in a bowl.

Prepare the dressing with the remaining ingredients and stir well to dissolve the sugar. Pour over cabbage and toss lightly. Serves 6

    This is what I make, but I use lite miracle whip, I add red cabbage for color and crushed pineapple instead of sugar. - 6/28/08

    I didn't have onion so I put in a little onion powder and I also didn't have celery seed but I am amazed at how good this is. I will definitely make it again. - 7/2/08

    Delicious!!! I substituted the sugar for splenda and added a little lime juice. my husband loved it and didn't realize it was low in calories!! - 7/1/08
