Ingredients
1/4 cup raisins1 tsp ground cinnamon or 2 cinnamon sticks2 cups red kidney beans2 cups water, from the boiled beans1/2 cup granulated sugar1 cup coconut milk3 cups evaporated milk1/2 tsp salt1/2 pound (8oz) batata root1 tsp ground cloves or 9 cloves
Directions
Cut the batata into 1/2 or 1 inch cubes. Boil with a tsp of salt until tender.

Boil the beans until soft. Put the beans and the water through the blender. Strain the beans to get rid of the skin.

Put the beans, coconut milk, and half the milk in a bot and bring to a boil. Add the rest of the milk, sugar, raisins, and batata and let boil medium heat for 10 minutes. Stir regularly to avoid sticking. Add the rest of the ingredients and boil to the desired consistency (creamy).

Serve warm or cold. You can also add vanilla wafer cookies, but then that's more calories.
