Split Pea Soup, double batch (1c serving)

Ingredients
Sautee 4 large onions in 2T oil until almost clear.Add 2 lbs dried split peas15c water2 lb raw carrots, large chunks4t Better Than Bullion (chicken)2t salt1t pepper4T garlic
Directions
Sautee onions then add all other ingredients.
Simmer half-covered for about 1 hour, till soft. Stir now & then.
Makes 19 1-cup servings
