Simple Risotto

Ingredients
1 cup arborio rice (brown rice wouold be nice for more fiber)about 5 pats of butterolive oil1/2 a medium onion, dicedwater1 tsp red pepper flakes1 tsp cinnamonsalt and pepper
Directions
Saute the onions in the olive oil with a pat of butter. When the onions have begun to wilt, add the rice. Stir well so the rice is coated well. Add a 1/2 or whole cup of water. Let this simmer until there is almost no more liquid. Add another pat of butter. Continue slowly adding water and the remaining pats of butter until the rice is fully cooked.
You can also add parmigian cheese (but that's not included in the nutrition count).
It makes around 4 1/2 cup servings. Serve with a helping of lean meat and salad of your choice.
