Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients
2-4 pounds chicken parts (skinned)flour for dredging1/4 c olive oil1 clove minced garlic1 med choppe onion1 lge green pepper, chopped1 C sliced mushrooms1 28 oz can chopped tomatoes1/4 C water2 T white wine2 T salt1/4 tsp oregano1 tsp basil1/2 tsp thyme
Directions
1. In skillet add olive oil, Saute' onion, garlic & peppers (10 minutes). Add mushrooms 5 minutes in. and remove from skillet.

2.Add Dredged chicken to skillet & brown.

3. Return sauted' veggies anf all other ingredients to skillet and simmer for 30-49 minutes.

serve over cooked noodles ( noodle not included in nutritional calculations)

    Cooked mine in a enamel on cast Iron pot. Use a heaping tbl spoon of jared crushed garlic, red bell peppers because thats what I had 2 28 oz cans of hole tomatoes that I crushed by hand, a large onion, a hole 8 to 10 oz of dry red wine and cut the
