Quaker Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter1/2 cup packed brown sugar1/4 cup sugar1 egg1 teaspoon vanilla3/4 cup flour1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/4 salt1 1/2 cups oatmeal1/2 cup raisins
Directions
Heat oven to 350. Beat butter and sugars together. Add in and beat egg and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix well. Stir in oats and raisins. Bake 10-12 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen small cookies

    I was really excited about finding an oatmeal raisin cookie recipe. I substituted whole wheat flour for regular and excluded the 1/4 salt. With this said and done it came out just alright. But it might be me, maybe friends will think differently... - 2/25/08
