4 slices 100% Oroweat Whole Wheat bread cut in cubes3/4 cup nonfatt milk2 eggs...............1 1/2 lbs Extra Lean ground beef 1/2 lb. Jimmy Dean Hot ground pork1/4 cup finely chopped onion1/4 cup finely chopped celery1 TBLSP Worcestershire sauce1 1/2 tsp salt1/8 tsp pepper1/4 tsp sage1/4 tsp dry mustard1/2 tsp poultry seasoning.....................1/4 cup catsup
Soak bread cubes in milk. Add eggs; beat with rotary beater. Add meats, onion, celery, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and seasonings; mix thoroughly. Form in 2 loaves. Place in 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake uncovered, in moderate oven (350) for 1 hour.
For glaze add catsup to top of loaves the last 10 min.
Makes 8-10 servings.
Leftover meatloaf makes great sandwiches. Serve cold (that is, if you have any left)

I love this recipe! Did it come from the old Better Homes and Gardens cookbook? It is just like the recipe my mom made from that cookbook. I have entered a recipe almost identical to yours that I make from memory, since that page in my old BH&G is missing. Thanks for sharing! - 4/28/10

It did come from the Old BHG but with my additions. We love the Jimmy Dean Hot sausage and I use that instead of plain ground beef. I changed the milk to non fat and the bread to whole wheat. Thank you.
