Lenora's Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 c butter at room temp2 c turbinato sugar (sometimes called sugar in the raw or natural cane sugar)2 eggs2 tsp vanilla2 c whole wheat flour3/4 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powder1 tsp salt2 1/3 c oats2 c chocolate chips
Directions
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the vanilla and eggs and continue mixing. Mix flour, soda, powder, and salt in a separate bowl and then add to wet ingredients, mixing well. Stir in the oats and chocolate chips by hand. Bake at 350 for 13 - 15 min being careful not to overcook. Makes about 4 dozen cookies that are around 130 calories each.
