Apple-Cranberry Sauce for German Pancakes

Ingredients
1 lg apple, thinly sliced¾ C water½ C fresh or frozen cranberries¼ C sugar¼ t. cinnamon1 Tb cornstarch2 Tb water
Directions
In pot, combine apples ¾ C water, berries, sugar, and cinnamon. Bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat, cover, simmer, stirring occasionally for about 10 min- or until fruit is tender, Place cornstarch in a small bowl. Stir in 2 Tb water. Add to the apple-cranberry mixture. Cook about 2 min until thickened and bubbly, stirring often. Serve over german pancakes
