Directions
Cut flat iron steak into very small thin strips, (about 1inch long.) Coat the meat with seasonings. Heat olive oil in pan, then add onions to sautee. When beginning to get translucent, add the steak and let it simmer on low. It will release a lot of juice, but it will soak it back in when it is done (similar to when cooking lamb in a pan). While meat is cooking, make salsa. Just chop all ingredients and mix together. (You can also make rice and beans on the side if you like, but the nutritional facts for those side items are not included in this recipe). When meat is done, heat small tortillas over open flame (you can microwave if you have an electric stove and don't want them to stick). This recipe makes about 18 tacos (you may need a bit more salsa if you use a lot of it, otherwise each taco gets about 1 tbsp). Enjoy!
