Healthy Black Bean Oat Burgers

Ingredients

1.5 cup dried black beans (rinsed, soaked and boiled til soft)1 cup celery chopped1/2 cup onion chopped3 cloves garlic minced4 tbsp fresh salsa 3/4 cup of organic rolled oats1 tbsp crushed red pepperdash of white pepper1 tbsp Chili powder2 tbsp No Salt Seasoning 1 egg plus 1 egg white beaten
Combine all ingredients into a food processor and lightly chopped but still chunky or use a potato masher and mash by hand. Let mixture sit about 10 minutes. Lightly spray a non-stick pan with canola spray and place a large spoon fulls of mixture onto hot pan. Mash down into form of patty with spoon. Let cook on Medium for about 5 minutes and carefully flip patties to cook an additional 3 to 4 minutes. Can be kept in freezer and re-heated. Makes 8 single serving burgers. Nutritious and Delicious!
