Pasta and chicken Bake

Ingredients
1 onion, diced1/4 cup EVOO2lb chicken breast or thigh, cut into 1" cubes10-16 oz mushrooms, sliced1 lb pasta7 oz gruyere cheese1 cup chicken broth
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Toss the vegetables in the olive oil. Set aside.
Cook the pasta till partially cooked but still firm. Drain and layer in a casserole dish. Top with chicken, then vegetables, then cheese.
Pour broth over the whole thing.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
