Warm Quinoa and Millet Cereal

Ingredients
1/2 cup quinoa 1/4 cup millet 2 1/2 cups apple juice (unsweetened)
Directions
Rinse millet and quinoa and millet under cool water. Bring apple juice to a boil and add quinoa and millet. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the grains are soft.

After it's at room temperature, I store it in the fridge and microwave it in the AM when I'm ready for breakfast.

Optional:
top with a few tablespoons of chopped nuts or fresh fruit
I like sliced almonds and bananas

    I make this all the time, along with amaranth seed. Once cooked, I add cinnamon and a little honey, then almond milk. I love it and its a perfect gluten-free breakfast. - 11/2/11
