Whole Wheat Apple Cinnamon Pancakes - Under 100

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour2 cups white flour2 tbsps ground flax6 tsps baking powder6 tsps Splenda (could use Sugar or Honey)2 tsps cinnamon2 cups milk2 eggs - beaten1/2 tsp vanilla extract3 tbsps melted butter or margarine2 grated apples (skin on)
Mix all dry ingredient. Make a well in the center and add beaten eggs and milk. Add melted margarine, vanilla and grated apples. Stir until just mixed.
Batter should be thick, but you can thin with some water if it is too gluey.
Pour a small ladle on a hot griddle (325).
Let cook completely on one side before turning.
These are thick pancakes, and require a longer cooking time than thin, white pancakes.
Delicous served with berries or peaches, walnuts and Pure Maple Syrup!
