Carly's Butternut Squash Soup

Ingredients
1 small butternut squash peeled, seeded, and cubed1 medium sweet potato peeled and cubed4 cups of chicken broth1 peeled and cored granny smith apple.25 cup of brown sugar1 tbsp butter/margarine1 medium sweet onion chopped
Directions
Makes about 8 1 cup servings

Saute' chopped onion in butter. After about 5-10 minutes add sweet potato, butternut squash, and apple. Cook for about 20-30 minutes on medium (until veggies are soft). Puree' veggies in a blender. Add brown sugar.

(You may want to add other seasonings such as nutmeg, cinnamon, or it might not be sweet enough for you. Feel free to make changes as you see fit!
