French Apple Pie

Ingredients
1 9-inch pie crust1/2 C sugar3 tbsp flour1/4 tsp nutmeg1/4 tsp cinnamon1 dash salt5 C sliced tart applesCrumb topping:1 C flour1/2 C margarine1/2 C brown sugar
Directions
Combine sliced apples with sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt, Turn into pie crust. Mix crumb topping ingredients until crumbly; top apple filling. Bake at 425 for 50 minutes, cover topping with aluminum foil if browning too quickly. Watch pie closely, may bubble over if overfilled.
