Ingredients
Directions
1 large onion, diced2 tsp garlic2 eggs3/4 cup minute rice1/4 cup parmesan cheese1 TBS Worcestechire Sauce1 TBS vinager2 Tsp basil1 Tsp parsley1 tsp Italian Seasoning1 tsp Oregano1/2 tsp pepper1 tsp salt (or to taste)1 cup stewed/chopped tomatoes, drained8 ounces (1/2 pound) ground turkey**8 ounces (") Ground beef (lean)**(You can use either one pound of turkey, or beef. I buy 1 pound packages of each, double the ingredients of this recipe and make 2 loaves. I like the taste of beef/turkey better than plain turkey...)Also, if you use FRESH herbs, it tastes SOO much better. I also added fresh rosemary to mine, and it was out of this world good. :)
Heat oven to 350.
Mix together all of the wet ingredients. Add the seasonings and rice.
Blend in the meat, well. Put into a loaf dish, and bake at 350 for 45-hour, or until the middle of the loaf temperature is 160.
