2 cups Flour, all-purpose1/3 cup Crisco Shortening1 tsp sugar3 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt1 cup 1% milk1/2 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese 2%, shredded1 tbsp Olive Oil2 tbsp Light Margarine
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Cut shortening into flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder & salt in medium bowl until mxture looks like fine crumbs. Stir in milk and cheese until dough leaves side of bowl (dough will be soft and sticky. Drop dough by 8 to 10 large spoonfuls onto cookie sheet greased with olive oil. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Brush hot biscuits with light margarine before removing from pan. Serve warm. Serving size 1 biscuit.
