Apple-oatmeal cookies

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats1 1/2 c.white-whole wheat flour1/2 c. brown sugar, packed1 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 1/2 tsp cinnamon1/2 c. raisins1 c. finely chopped, peeled apples1 egg, slightly beaten1/2 c. honey1/2 c. canola oil1/3 c. skim milkpreheat oven to 375 degrees.
Directions
makes 3 dozen cookies

Mix all dry ingredients in a medium bowl-then add raisins & granny smith apples.
In another bowl- combine egg, honey, oil, milk- then stir in dry ingredients. mix until smooth.

Drop by rounded tsp on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
remove sheet from oven & transfer cookies to cooling rack.
