Great Northerns and Smoked Sausage (crockpot)

2.5 cups DRY great northern beans1/2 cup onions chopped1 Tablespoon garlic powder25 links Hillshire Farm Lit'l Smokieswater
Sort and rinse the beans and add to the crockpot. Add the onion and garlic powder. Add enough water to cover the beans by about an inch. Add the smokies and mix well.
Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8.
Makes eight 1 cup servings
You can also use dried onion or onion powder if you like. Or use fresh garlic instead of powder. Add other veggies to spice it up, like bell peppers or jalapenos. Carrots is also good in this. Just remember to readjust the nutritionals if you change the recipe!
