deer hunter's cheese dip (1/4 cup)

Ingredients
28 oz (3cups) of crumbled cooked deer meat or sausage.half of a block of velveeta 2 % cheese (2 cups or 16 oz)3 cans of RO*TEL mild diced tomatoes& green chilies
Directions
put two cans of the tomatoes on food processor for a few seconds until the consistency of salsa.
brown deer meat
cut velveeta into small squares.
dump all ingredients into crockpot cook on high until melted, stiring frequently. once melted turn crockpot to lowest setting. (8.5 cup yield =34- .25 cup servings)
serve with fritos scoops or tostidos scoops.

    sounds great! I already use this type recipe with pork sausage or hamburger. I know the deer sausage will be tasty! I will try this soon. You can also sub velveeta with cream cheese for a different flavor! - 2/7/11
