Creamy Carrot and Potato Soup

Ingredients
1 tbsp butter1 large onion, chopped1 clove garlic, minced4 medium potatoes5-6 medium carrots5 cups of chicken stalk1/2 tsp of thyme1/4 tsp peppersalt to taste1 Bay leaf
Directions
Saute onions and garlic in butter until clear and soft. Add the remaining ingredients along with 1/4 tsp of pepper, a Bay leaf and salt to taste. Let simmer until vegetables are soft and blend. Makes 6-8 servings.
