Beer Braised Pork and Black Bean Soup

Ingredients
2 (12 ounce) bottles beer (preferably lager)1 tablespoon chopped chipotle chile in adobo, plus1 tablespoon adobo sauce1 teaspoon ground cumin1 large onion, chopped1 lb dried black beans, rinsed1 1/2 lbs boneless pork butt (pork shoulder)kosher saltSour cream, fresh cilantro and salsa for toppings (optional - not included in calorie total)
Directions
Makes 6 servings

In the bowl of a slow cooker, combine the beer, 3 cups water, the chilies, adobo sauce, cumin, onion, beans, pork, and 1/2 teaspoons salt

Cook on high for 6 hours.

May add sour cream, fresh cilantro and salsa as toppings (not included in calorie total)
